Delete Your Raw Account & Data

We respect your right to control your data. If you no longer want to use Raw, you can delete your account and all associated data at any time. This page explains how.

Option A — In-App (fastest)

• Open Raw → Settings → Account → Delete account.
• Confirm with the OTP sent to your registered phone number.
• Your account is deactivated immediately and permanently deleted within 30 days.

Option B — Email request

Send an email to our support team and include your registered phone number so we can locate your account.

What gets deleted

When we process your request, the following data is permanently removed from our systems:

• Your account profile (phone number, display name, date of birth, gender, orientation, preferences, and bio)
• Your location data used to discover other adults nearby
• All profile photos and other media you uploaded
• Your matches, expressions of mutual interest, and discovery history
• Your chats — including your side of conversations with other users
• Login session tokens and OTP records
• Any feedback or support correspondence
• Subscription identifier for Raw Plus linked to your account (transactional records may be retained for statutory compliance — see below)

What may be retained

In accordance with legal, safety, and compliance obligations, the following may be retained:

• Anonymised usage analytics (cannot be linked back to you)
• Billing and tax records required for GST and audit compliance (typically up to 7 years)
• Safety records related to reports, blocks, bans, or law-enforcement requests — including for fraud, harassment, or violent-conduct cases — for as long as needed to prevent re-registration and to comply with applicable law
• Content already received by another user (e.g., a chat message they have saved or screenshotted) is outside our control once delivered

Active subscription

If you have an active auto-renewing Raw Plus subscription, please cancel it first. There is no in-app cancellation button. You must cancel via your UPI / bank app (by finding AutoPay and pausing or cancelling the mandate), or by emailing our support address. See the Payment & Cancellation Policy for steps. Account deletion does not automatically issue a refund — refunds are governed by the Cancellation Policy.

Timeframe

• In-App deletion is initiated immediately.
• For email requests, we acknowledge within 2 working days.
• Deletion is completed within 30 days of verification.
• You will receive a confirmation message once deletion is complete.
